Lomachenko-Nakatani fight officially confirmed

Boxing promotion company Top Rank has announced a fight between Ukrainian Vasyl Lomachenko, a former unified world champion, and Japanese contender Masayoshi Nakatani, according to Ukrinform.

The meeting will take place at the Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas (the United States) on June 26. The fight will be broadcast on ESPN.

In his latest fight in October last year, Lomachenko lost three lightweight titles to Teofimo Lopez via unanimous decision.

Nakatani defeated Felix Verdejo by technical knockout late last year. The Japanese has just one defeat in his career, which came from Lopez who won in July 2019.
