Dynamo Kyiv dismisses manager Mykhailychenko

FC Dynamo Kyiv has dismissed head coach Oleksiy Mykhailychenko and his assistants Vadym Yevtushenko, Serhiy Fedorov and Mykhailo Mykhailov.

Another coaching staff will prepare the Kyiv club for the new season, the club's press service reported.

"Having received a team in the course of the season, this coaching staff made every effort to fulfill the tasks set for the season. As a result, Dynamo Kyiv won the Ukrainian Cup and took second place in the Ukrainian Premier League, which gives the right to compete for participation in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League," the report reads.

According to the report, the club's management and Dynamo Kyiv fans cannot be satisfied with the current level of the team's game and their lack of progress sufficient to fight for the title of Ukrainian champions and a worthy performance in European club tournaments. To do so, Dynamo's game must reach a qualitatively different level, the report said.
