UAF punishes Dynamo Kyiv for racist behavior of supporters

The Control and Disciplinary Committee of the Ukrainian Association of Football (UAF) has fined Dynamo Kyiv for the misconduct of its supporters during the Ukrainian Premier League match against Shakhtar Donetsk on November 10.

Dynamo Kyiv will pay a fine of UAH 500,000 and will also play one match in front of an empty stadium, the UAF's press service reported.

"Dynamo was punished for racist chants, namely monkey chanting. This was officially stated in the reports of the match delegate and the security officer," Secretary of the UAF Control and Disciplinary Committee Ihor Hryshchenko said.

The UAF Control and Disciplinary Committee also punished Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Taison for giving the finger to Dynamo Kyiv fans during the same match. The Brazilian was disqualified for one match and suspended for two more.
