Ukrainian boxer Postol tops WBC ranking

The World Boxing Council (WBC) has published new rankings in various weight categories.

A Ukrainian boxer and a mandatory contender for the WBC belt, Viktor Postol (31-2, 12 KO), has risen from second to first position in the super lightweight division, according to Klitschko-brothers.com.

Among other Ukrainians in the WBC rating, Oleksandr Usyk climbed one spot to fourth in the heavyweight division, whereas Oleksandr Gvozdyk lost champion status and ranks second in the light heavyweight division. Sergiy Derevyanchenko is third in the middleweight division, Serhiy Bohachuk entered the rating in the super welterweight division, and Viktor Postol climbed from second to first position in the super lightweight division. Vasyl Lomachenko is the WBC lightweight champion.
