Usyk names his future opponent

Undisputed cruiserweight champion Oleksandr Usyk of Ukraine has said that his heavyweight debut, which was postponed due to an injury, is likely to take place in September or October in the United States.

According to Usyk, Cameroonian Carlos Takam remains his most likely rival, Klitschko-brothers.com reported.

"We had a meeting with promoter Eddie Hearn at which we talked about it. It looks like the fight will be held in September or even in October. We're talking about the United States. We are not sure yet one hundred percent, but Eddie says that Carlos Takam will most likely be my opponent. I'm eagerly waiting for this fight. I'm tired of just training and not boxing. I'm ready for hard work. I'm ready to start training for the fight and I'm waiting for my debut in heavyweight," the Ukrainian boxer said.
