Klitschko, Lewis to play chess in Kyiv

Lennox Lewis has disclosed the details of a fight with Vitali Klitschko. Earlier it was reported that the legendary boxers will enter the ring again during the 56th WBC Congress, which will take place in Kyiv from September 30 to October 5.

However, Lewis told Daily Mail that they would settle the score with a chess match played inside a boxing ring.

"We are going to play a chess match inside a boxing ring. We are too old now to be pulling on the gloves again. It will be interesting for us to pit our wits against each other rather than our fists," Lewis said.

The chess match will be held during a charity auction, the details of which have not yet been disclosed.

The legendary battle between Klitschko and Lewis took place on June 21, 2003. Then the match was stopped due to a deep cut above Klitschko's left eye. The Ukrainian boxer was ahead on points at that time.

Lewis promised a rematch, but retired from boxing shortly after the bout. This fight was recognized as the best heavyweight fight of a decade.
