Cipriano moves to Shakhtar Donetsk

Sao Paulo winger Marquinhos Cipriano has moved to Shakhtar Donetsk. The club's general manager, Serhiy Palkin, announced the signing of a five-year contract with the Brazilian.

The amount of the transfer is not officially known, but the media wrote earlier that the Ukrainian club had paid a million euros.

Earlier, the Ukrainian club signed a preliminary contract, according to which Cipriano had to terminate the contract with Sao Paulo and move to Shakhtar on September 15. But the Pitmen paid a million euros as compensation for the Brazilian club, and the 19-year-old winger will join Shakhtar in Austria this week.

In 2015, Cipriano moved to Sao Paulo from Desportivo for 220,000 euros. He is ranked 87th in the list of the world's 100 best young players according to Four Four Two. The media reported that the Brazilian had rejected an offer from Barcelona in order to sign a contract with Shakhtar.
