Klympush-Tsintsadze calls 2018 World Cup in Russia 'staged farce'

Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze believes that Russia wants to use the 2018 World Cup to deceive the world "with its staged farce."

Klympush-Tsintsadze wrote this on Twitter.

"It's outrageous hypocrisy to celebrate fair play in the country which does not respect any rules. Russia wants to fool the world with its staged farce," she wrote.

As reported, the finals of the 2018 FIFA World Cup will be held in Russia from June 14 to July 15. At the same time, FIFA did not give permission to open the official fan zones of the World Cup in Russian-annexed Crimea.

Moreover, some countries, in particular, the United Kingdom, Iceland and Australia, declared a diplomatic boycott of the World Cup in Russia.
