Poroshenko meets with president of Real Madrid C.F.

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko met with president of Real Madrid C.F. Florentino Perez during an official visit to the Kingdom of Spain.

Poroshenko congratulated the Real Madrid leadership on a historic victory – the achievement of the 13th European Football Champions Cup.

The President of Real Madrid C.F. noted the high organizational level, provided by Ukraine for the Champions League final. Florentino Perez noted the positive atmosphere of Kyiv, which also contributed to the club’s victory.

The parties discussed the possible ways to intensify the sports cooperation between Ukraine and Spain.

Florentino Perez presented the President of Ukraine with a Real Madrid jersey with No.1 and name of Poroshenko.
