Ukraine fifth in medal standings at Winter Paralympics in Pyeongchang

Ukraine has received two more medals at the 2018 Winter Paralympics in Pyeongchang (South Korea) as Hryhoriy Vovchynsky took silver in the men's 10 km cross-country skiing and Maksym Yarovy won bronze in the men's 7.5 km cross-country skiing, Ukrinform reports. 

Ukraine now has 21 medals (six gold, seven silver and eight bronze medals) and comes fifth in medal standings.

The medal table is topped by the United States (12 gold, 15 silver and eight bronze medals). Neutral Paralympic Athletes (NPA) are second (8, 10, 6), Canada third (8, 1, 15), and Germany fourth (6, 8, 2).

Medals at 2018 Winter Olympics have already been received by representatives of 26 countries among 49 participating teams.

The games will end on March 18.
