Parubiy congratulates Ukrainian Paralympians on success in PyeongChang

Verkhovna Rada Chairman Andriy Parubiy has congratulated Ukrainian Paralympic athletes on their success at the XII Paralympic Winter Games 2018 in PyeongChang.

He stated this at a plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada on March 13, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Through four days of competition, our athletes have won 15 medals, including five gold ones. Our team is in the second place in total medal count. Just a few hours ago, the youngest member of the national team Taras Rad and biathlete Oksana Shyshkova won gold medals. We are glad to congratulate our athletes and wish them victory," Parubiy said.

Ukraine's national team has already won 15 medals - five gold, four silver and six bronze medals.

The 2018 Winter Paralympics in PyeongChang will be held until March 18.
