Lomachenko: It's hard to get fights, and I'm frustrated

Two-division world champion and WBO super featherweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko of Ukraine (8-1, 6 KOs) has said he is upset that his team failed to agree on a rematch with Mexican veteran warrior Orlando Salido and that he has to fight two-time world title challenger Miguel Marriaga (25-2, 21 KOs) of Columbia.

Lomachenko said he believes that his opponent Marriaga is a tough fighter who has a big desire to fight, according to fightnews.com.

"It's hard to get fights and I am frustrated we wanted the fight with Salido but we settled with Marriaga. I think he is a good tough fighter with a big desire to fight. When he accepted this fight right away I knew it would accept it. It shows he has the balls to fight," Lomachenko said.

The fight between Lomachenko and Marriaga will take place at the Microsoft Theater arena in Los Angeles on August 5.
