Ukrainian Paralympians return from Rio (photo, video)

The Ukrainian Paralympians have returned from Rio de Janeiro.

Hundreds of people with flowers, balloons, flags and posters with slogans “You are the best”, “Your victory is pride of Ukraine” gathered in the arrival hall of Kyiv’s Boryspil International Airport to meet the athletes. They congratulated the Paralympians and shouted “Glory to Ukraine!”.

The Ukrainian Paralympians won 117 (41-37-39) medals at the Rios 2016 Paralympics. The Ukrainian team finished third in the overall team standings.
