Dnipropetrovsk region hands over pickup trucks to police anti-drone unit
The Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration has delivered five pickup trucks to the anti-drone unit of a special police battalion. The vehicles were purchased using regional budget funds.
According to Ukrinform, the announcement was made on Telegram by Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Hanzha.
“I handed over five pickup trucks to the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Dnipropetrovsk region. They were purchased with regional funds. The vehicles are intended for the anti-drone unit of the special-purpose police battalion,” he wrote.
According to Hanzha, the vehicles are adapted for special operations and provide the maneuverability and rapid response needed to counter aerial threats.
“These vehicles must operate effectively 24/7. I expect maximum performance from every crew,” the regional governor stressed.
Earlier, Ukrinform reported that the Lviv region had transferred 160 unmanned systems and six pickup trucks to the military.
