Over 100 generators supplied to schools and hospitals since start of year
Since the beginning of the year, 110 generators with a total value exceeding UAH 61 million have been delivered, including to hospitals and schools.
This was reported on Facebook by Ukraine’s First Lady Olena Zelenska, according to Ukrinform.
“…This makes it possible for hospitals to operate without interruption, for children to continue learning, and for families to have electricity and basic stability,” the statement said.
Zelenska noted that particular attention is being paid to educational institutions.
“Sixty-two generators have been delivered to schools and kindergartens in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions, as well as to educational institutions in Kyiv. In the capital, 35 high-capacity generators have been distributed across the Solomianskyi, Darnytskyi, Dniprovskyi, and Desnianskyi districts,” she wrote.
The First Lady added that generators have also been provided to hospitals, social institutions, and large foster families where electricity means safety, warmth, and the ability to carry on.
Zelenska expressed gratitude to international partners for their support and trust.
As previously reported, Olena Zelenska Foundation has also delivered humanitarian aid to 79 foster families raising 577 children.
