The march aimed to support Ukrainian women defenders, servicewomen, and civilians who are currently or were previously held in Russian captivity, as well as women affected by war-related sexual violence. It also sought to protect women’s rights from discriminatory or regressive legislative initiatives.

Among the participants were representatives of the 1325 Kyiv Coalition and the Kyiv Academy of Women’s Leadership.

Hanna Starostenko, Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration, emphasized that the capital remains a city where people can publicly discuss socially important issues, support each other, and uphold respect and human dignity.
