Water supply stops in Vinnytsia due to power outage, station restart underway

In Vinnytsia, the main water supply station stopped working due to a power outage, and it will take up to 6 hours to fully restore the water supply.

This was reported by Vinnytsiaoblvokanal on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

Due to a complete lack of electricity, the main water supply station in Vinnytsia stopped working. It is noted that the entire city is currently without water.

“As of now, the power supply has been restored. According to information from Vinnytsiaoblvokanal, power has been restored and the main water supply station has begun to restart,” according to a post by the Vinnytsia City Council on Telegram.

It is noted that it will take at least 5-6 hours to fully restore water supply in all microdistricts of the city.

As reported by Ukrinform, train service and escalator operation in the Kyiv metro were temporarily suspended due to a power outage from external power supply centers.
