Russia spreading fakes about mass raids, 'drone hunts' to undermine mobilization in Ukraine
Russian propaganda is spreading disinformation aimed at disrupting mobilization processes in Ukraine, falsely claiming that "mass raids" by recruitment centers and "drone hunts for people" are taking place.
According to Ukrinform, the Kyiv Regional Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center reported this on Facebook.
"Unverified information is being circulated on social media about alleged 'mass raids,' 'reinforced groups from other regions' 'search drones,' and fabricated mobilization figures. This is fake," the recruitment center said.
It emphasized the importance of understanding the main point: "through such disinformation and deliberate distortion of reality, enemy propaganda is trying to sow panic in society, discredit the lawful actions of the state, and derail mobilization processes." "Fear, chaos, and distrust are weapons the enemy actively uses in the rear."
"Territorial recruitment and social support centers operate strictly within the law, in a routine manner, without 'secret operations' or fabricated methods. There are no decisions on mass redeployment of 'TRC groups,' using drones to 'hunt people,' or imposing unrealistic mobilization figures," the statement reads.
The Kyiv Regional Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center stressed that by spreading such rumors, even unintentionally, people become channels for enemy disinformation.
"That is exactly what the enemy is counting on – that Ukrainians will begin to fear each other and their own state instead of the real threat," the statement said.
Citizens are urged to treat anonymous reports critically, trust only official sources, and not spread unverified information.
