A memorandum on partnership between Lviv, Wroclaw and Breda has been signed in the Netherlands.

According to Ukrinform's correspondent in The Hague, the signing ceremony took place in the Dutch city of Breda with the participation of Ukrainian Ambassador to the Netherlands Oleksandr Karasevych and Polish Ambassador to the Netherlands Margareta Kassangana. Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi took part in the event via video link.

"We signed a memorandum on cooperation between the three cities of Breda, the Netherlands, Wroclaw, Poland, and Lviv, Ukraine. This is important, because the establishment and intensification of municipal cooperation is one of our priorities. Unfortunately, today not many Dutch cities actively cooperate with Ukraine, and this is one of the examples that we will popularize, promote and set an example for other municipalities. If we are talking about cooperation, then specific projects are already underway. Breda is already helping, particularly by sending some municipal equipment, and they plan to continue providing support in the future. We will work on this together," Karasevych said in a comment to Ukrinform.
