Russians brainwashing children in temporarily occupied areas - Fedorov

Russian invaders are constantly zombifying Ukrainian children in the temporarily occupied territories, including by sending them to summer camps, where they are taught the so-called "true history".

That’s according to Ivan Fedorov, the Melitopol Mayor in exile, who addressed the issue on the air of the national telethon, Ukrinform reports.

"The occupiers continue to separately zombify and recruit our children already explicitly. Another batch of our children was sent to Yevpatoria’s summer camps (in occupied Crimea - ed.). They were sent by some Gauleiter-governor of one of the Russian regions, who said that in these camps children must be taught the correct version of history and told the true history of our state. So they openly confirm that they will zombify our kids," Fedorov said.

The mayor added that starting in the fall of 2023, children will be brainwashed under the pretext of education. In particular, the invaders are preparing to implement from the new academic year Vladimir Putin's plan by explaining to schoolchildren the reasons for the unleashing of the so-called "special military operation".

As Ukrinform reported earlier, Russian invaders are threatening residents of the temporarily occupied territories over the photos in people’s phones showing them posing with the Ukrainian flag or Ukrainian songs they store on their devices.
