Ukrainian war medics to receive tactical backpacks from EU - Health Ministry

Ukrainian military medics were given 101 tactical medical backpacks, each of which is equipped with all basic medical necessities, including tourniquets, hemostatic bandages, and soft stretchers.

Each piece is worth UAH 1.8 million, the press service of Ukraine’s Health Ministry reports, according to Ukrinform.

"The tactical backpack of a military medic is practically a mini-hospital, consisting of more than a hundred items of medicines and necessary equipment, which allows for providing first aid and even conduct a mini-surgery. Amid active combat operations, Ukraine receives humanitarian aid from the governments of the European Union member states. Cooperation is actively going on regarding the provision of the necessary assistance to military medics," the statement reads.
