Order of Malta will help to rehabilitate Internal Affairs Ministry officers

During a meeting with Antonio Gazzanti Pugliese di Cotrone, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sovereign Order of Malta to Ukraine, Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko raised the issue of rehabilitation and psychological support for officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

"We are already thinking about the end of the war because we will face a lot of social problems, problems related to the physical and psychological health of our workers after the victory," the minister emphasized, the Ministry’s press service posted on Telegram.

As noted, the Order of Malta provides humanitarian aid to Ukraine and is ready to join the project of building a rehabilitation center near Kyiv in the context of training psychological rehabilitation specialists.

As reported, the Sovereign Order of Malta has been present in Ukraine since 1991 as the Malteser Relief Service works in Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Berehove.
