"We are not talking about giving up (Russian culture – ed.) forever, we are talking about what needs to be done right now. This will lead to a strategic rethinking of the influence and meaning of Russian culture. This will allow Ukrainian cultural figures to show the best of the rich Ukrainian cultural heritage - this year more than 1,200 cultural actions and performances took place in Europe," he said.

Tkachenko added that the practice of canceling Russian culture should continue in Europe.

As Ukrinform reported, more than 1,200 cultural infrastructure facilities were damaged or destroyed across Ukraine as a result of Russian aggression.
