Some 38,000 Ukrainians return to country in past day - border guards

Nearly 43,000 persons crossed into Ukraine on Saturday, 38,000 of them Ukrainians.

That’s according to the State Border Guard Service, Ukrinform reports.

According to the agency, over the past day, October 29, some 85,000 people and 20,000 vehicles crossed Ukraine's western borders with the EU and Moldova.

Of them, 42,000 people left Ukraine, including 25,000 toward Poland and the rest – to other EU countries and Moldova.

In the past day, 43,000 persons entered Ukraine, 38,000 of them Ukrainian citizens.

Also, 85 trucks carrying humanitarian aid underwent border and customs formalities.

As reported, according to the UN Refugee Agency, after the Russian full-scale invasion, Ukrainians crossed out of their country 10 million times.
