In captured territories of Zaporizhia region, invaders occupy evacuees’ homes

In the temporarily captured territories of Zaporizhia region, the invaders are alienating the homes of Ukrainians who have moved to the Ukraine-controlled territory.

That’s according to the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.

"The occupiers of the temporarily captured territories of Zaporizhia region are conducting a so-called real estate inventory. Thus, the invaders are searching for and alienating the homes of Ukrainians who fled from occupation," the report says.

In Kherson, the Russians are forcing the population to build fortifications, the Center notes, noting that the Russians involve “curfew violators” to do the works.

Recruited Russian convicts, deployed in the captured territories of Kherson region, flee once assigned weapons and are looking for an opportunity to return home. Russian guard units, under the guise of fighting sabotage and reconnaissance groups, are actually looking for deserters.

In Mariupol, Donetsk region, taking advantage of the recently introduced “martial law,” collaborators seize vehicles from local residents, citing "military needs."

As Ukrinform reported earlier, referring to the head of the Luhansk regional military administration, Serhiy Haidai, the Russian invaders assure local residents that the introduction of martial law is part of the process of the area’s integration into Russia, foreseeing no innovations for the population, with the exception of "control over phone calls, Internet messages, vetting of postal items, and bans on strikes".
