As Ukrinform reported earlier, the occupation "authorities" in Crimea on August 9 confirmed the explosions in the Novofedorovka district, where the Russian air base is located. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation stated that "a detonation of aviation munitions occurred" at the airfield.

On Tuesday morning, a series of blasts rocked the Dzhankoy district of the northern part of Russian-occupied Crimea. The head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Refat Chubarov, wrote that the enemy ammunition depot was hit.

Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People, Refat Chubarov, reported, the occupiers and local collaborators are trying to convince the public that after the explosions at the military airfield in Novofedorivka, those vacationing on the peninsula returned to the beaches, but the actual situation on the ground is strikingly different: Russians who planned to spend their vacation in the temporarily occupied Crimea are refusing to travel there, while those who have already arrived are fleeing in panic.
