Duda kneels before monument to Ukrainian People’s Republic soldiers

On the day of the 102nd anniversary of the victory over the Bolsheviks in the Battle of Warsaw, the President of Poland honored the memory of the soldiers of the Ukrainian People's Republic.

That’s according to a video posted by the press service of the Polish President’s Office, Ukrinform reports.

"At the Orthodox cemetery in Warsaw, President Andrzej Duda honored the memory of the soldiers of the Ukrainian People's Republic, who in 1920 fought side by side with the soldiers of the Polish Army against the Bolsheviks," reads the caption to the video.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, Andrzej Duda congratulated Ukrainians on the Day of Statehood, stressing that Ukraine protects Europe from enslavement.
