Russians shoot down own drone over Taganrog

A Russian drone fell on a household in Taganrog, Rostov region, causing a fire.

This was reported by the Russian media, as seen by Ukrinform.

Governor Vasiliy Golubev has confirmed that it had in fact been a drone that fell on the house. According to the official, no one was injured in the incident. The type of the device, the reasons behind its fall, and whom it belongs to are yet to be officially reported, he said. The UAV carried no weapons, Golubev added.

Ukrainian MP Oleksiy Honcharenko wrote on his Telegram channel that the Russians shot down their own drone.

"In Taganrog, the ruscists shot down their own drone over a local household. After that, a fire started. The world’s second-strongest army is already at war with itself," he wrote.
