Over 22 tonnes of humanitarian cargo delivered to occupied territories of eastern Ukraine

More than 22 tonnes of humanitarian cargo has been delivered to the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, the press service of the Ministry for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine has reported.

“Today, January 27, humanitarian cargo weighing a total of 22.5 tonnes has been delivered to Russia-occupied parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions," the report says.

The cargo was transferred from the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.

It is noted that one truck carrying humanitarian aid crossed the Novotroitske entry-exit checkpoint, according to the ministry.

As Ukrinform reported, on December 22, humanitarian cargo weighing over nine tonnes was delivered to Russia-occupied parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
