Ukraine reports 13,206 new COVID-19 cases

Ukraine has recorded 13,206 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, on December 3, the Ukrainian Health Ministry has reported on Facebook.

"Some 13,206 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease COVID-19 (including 1,196 cases in children and 200 cases in health workers) have been recorded," the report reads.

According to the report, 436 patients died from COVID-19, 2,764 were hospitalized, and 22,765 recovered in Ukraine on December 3.

As many as 3,490,855 people in Ukraine have contracted coronavirus, 3,041,385 have recovered, and 88,002 have died since the pandemic began. Some 16,051,772 PCR tests have been performed.

According to the report, 216,129 people were vaccinated for COVID-19 in Ukraine on December 3. Some 75,557 people received their first dose, and 140,572 people were fully vaccinated.

A total of 25,375,687 doses have been administered in Ukraine since it launched the COVID-19 vaccination campaign, with 13,685,625 people receiving their first dose and 11,690,062 people receiving both doses (two people received their first dose abroad).

A total of 13,777 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Ukraine on December 2.
