Kyiv records 1,418 new COVID-19 cases

Kyiv city recorded 1,418 new coronavirus cases on December 1, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote on his Facebook page.

Since the start of the pandemic, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the capital has reached 301,829, he wrote.

Among people who have contracted COVID-19 in Kyiv over the course of the past day are 771 women aged 18-100 years, 512 men aged 18-89 years, 66 girls aged between 3 months and 17 years, and 69 boys aged between two months and 17 years.

On December 1, 27 lethal cases related to COVID-19 were recorded in Kyiv.

According to Klitschko, 87 patients with coronavirus, 178 patients with suspected COVID-19 and pneumonia were hospitalized on December 1.

At the same time, 2,558 people have recovered over the course of the past day. In total, 259,333 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease.

As reported, Kyiv recorded 1,592 new COVID-19 cases on November 30.
