Ukraine reports 12,729 new COVID-19 cases

Ukraine has recorded 12,729 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Health Ministry has reported on Facebook.

"Some 12,729 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 (including 1,058 cases in children and 231 cases in healthcare workers) were recorded in Ukraine on November 22, 2021," the report read.

According to the report, 720 patients died of COVID-19, 2,055 were hospitalized, and 23,107 recovered in Ukraine in the past 24 hours.

As many as 3,353,136 people in Ukraine have contracted coronavirus, 2,796,597 have recovered, and 82,318 have died since the pandemic began.

The largest number of confirmed COVID-19 cases was registered in Kyiv (1,631), Dnipropetrovsk region (1,310), Poltava region (1,141), Donetsk region (929), and Zaporizhia region (847).

A total of 7,464 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Ukraine on November 21.
