Kyiv records 1,483 new COVID-19 cases

Kyiv city recorded 1,483 new coronavirus cases on November 17, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote on his Facebook page.

“As many as 1,483 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in the capital over the past day, 47 people have died. Overall, 7,055 lethal cases from the virus have been recorded since the start of the pandemic. A total number of confirmed cases has reached 283,880,” he wrote on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

Among people who have contracted COVID-19 in Kyiv over the course of the past day are 804 women aged 18-99 years, 588 men aged 18-94 years, 47 girls aged between 6 months and 17 years, and 44 boys aged 1-17 years.

According to Klitschko, 141 patients with coronavirus, 161 patients with suspected COVID-19 and pneumonia were hospitalized on November 17.

At the same time, 829 people have recovered over the course of the past day. In total, 242,386 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease.

As reported, Ukraine recorded 20,591 new COVID-19 cases on November 17.
