Kyiv records 1,481 new COVID-19 cases

Kyiv city recorded 1,481 new coronavirus cases on November 15, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote on his Facebook page.

Since the start of the pandemic, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the capital has reached 280,788, he wrote.

Among people who have contracted COVID-19 in Kyiv over the course of the past day are 847 women aged 18-94 years, 532 men aged 18-100 years, 52 girls aged between two months and 17 years, and 50 boys aged between five months and 17 years.

As many as 38 lethal cases related to COVID-19 were recorded in Kyiv on November 15 (6,946 in total).

According to Klitschko, 223 patients with coronavirus, 222 patients with suspected COVID-19 and pneumonia were hospitalized on November 15.

At the same time, 935 people have recovered over the course of the past day. In total, 240,577 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease.

As reported, Ukraine recorded 16,308 new COVID-19 cases on November 15.
