Ukrainian director wins Best Video at MTV Europe Music Awards 2021

Ukrainian director Tanu Muiño won Best Video for “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” by rapper Lil Nas X at MTV Europe Music Awards 2021.

“Lil Nas X takes home the award for Best Video for ‘MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)’ at the MTV EMA 2021,” reads the announcement on MTV EMA website.

Currently, the video has over 390 million views on YouTube.

The MTV Europe Music Awards 2021 ceremony took place in Budapest on November 14. Ed Sheeran won Best Artist and Best Song for his “Bad Habits”.

As reported, Tanu Muiño is a Ukrainian music video director, designer, stylist, photographer, and filmmaker.

In September, her music video for “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” by Lil Nas X won Video of the Year, Best Direction and Best Visual Effects at MTV Video Music Awards 2021.
