Kyiv records 1,839 new COVID-19 cases

Kyiv city recorded 1,839 new coronavirus cases on November 12, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote on his Facebook page.

Since the start of the pandemic, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the capital has reached 278,411, he wrote.

Among people who have contracted COVID-19 in Kyiv over the course of the past day are 1,000 women aged 18-93 years, 722 men aged 18-95 years, 75 girls aged between 26 days and 17 years, and 42 boys aged between three months and 17 years.

As many as 53 lethal cases related to COVID-19 were recorded in Kyiv on November 12 (6,824 in total).

According to Klitschko, 147 patients with coronavirus, 278 patients with suspected COVID-19 and pneumonia were hospitalized on November 12.

At the same time, 843 people have recovered over the course of the past day. In total, 239,222 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease.

As reported, Ukraine recorded 25,415 new COVID-19 cases on November 12.
