Ukraine will get 2.5M doses of Pfizer vaccine this week - Liashko

Some 2.5 million doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine will be delivered to Ukraine this week, Minister of Health Viktor Liashko has said on the Freedom of Speech program on the ICTV channel.

"This week, on Tuesday-Wednesday, we are waiting for another million doses of the Pfizer vaccine and by the end of the week, there will be 1.5 million more doses of the Pfizer vaccine," Liashko said.

He recalled that almost three million doses of the Moderna vaccine and 1.4 million doses of the Pfizer vaccine were delivered to Ukraine on Sunday, November 7, as part of the COVAX scheme.

According to the Ministry of Health, almost 31 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines from various manufacturers have already been delivered to Ukraine.
