Ukraine reports 25,063 new COVID-19 cases

Ukraine has recorded 25,063 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Health Ministry has reported on Facebook.

"Some 25,063 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 (including 1,541 cases in children and 398 cases in healthcare workers) were recorded in Ukraine on November 5, 2021," the report reads.

According to the report, 793 coronavirus-related deaths, 5,057 hospitalizations, and 11,817 recoveries were registered in Ukraine on November 5.

As many as 3,058,014 people in Ukraine have contracted coronavirus, 2,504,236 have recovered, and 71,635 have died since the pandemic began.

According to the report, 278,917 people were vaccinated for COVID-19 in Ukraine on November 5. Some 183,294 people received their first dose, and 95,623 people were fully vaccinated.

A total of 19,127,846 doses have been administered in Ukraine since it launched the COVID-19 vaccination campaign, with 11,269,339 people receiving their first dose and 7,858,507 people receiving both doses (two people received their first dose abroad).
