Government redistributes UAH 22M subvention for temporary housing for IDPs

The government has redistributed a subvention in the amount of UAH 22 million to support internally displaced persons (IDPs) that need temporary housing assistance, according to Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

"The government has decided to allocate almost UAH 22 million to purchase 53 real estate objects and repair 13 objects for temporary housing for about 242 internally displaced persons," the prime minister wrote on his Telegram channel.

Shmyhal noted that funds of the subvention will be redistributed among 11 regions.

As reported, in May 2021, the Cabinet of Ministers allocated UAH 26 million of subventions from the state budget for the purchase of housing for IDPs.
