Kyiv records 1,135 new COVID-19 cases

Kyiv city recorded 1,135 new coronavirus cases on October 25, Ukrinform reports, referring to the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration.

"A total of 1,135 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in the capital over the past day. Thirty-seven people died. Since the start of the pandemic, 5,937 deaths from the virus have been recorded in Kyiv. The total number of confirmed cases in the capital has reached 252,921,” the administration’s press service cited Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, Ukrinform reports.

Among people who have contracted COVID-19 over the course of the past day are 659 women aged 18-92 years, 392 men aged 18-91 years, 43 girls aged between one month and 17 years, and 41 boys aged between two months and 17 years.

At the same time, 314 people have recovered over the course of the past day. In total, 226,761 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease.

As reported, Ukraine recorded 19,120 new COVID-19 cases on October 25.
