Kyiv reports 169 new COVID-19 cases, 12 deaths

Kyiv city recorded 169 new coronavirus cases on October 3, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote on his Facebook page.

Since the start of the pandemic, the total number of confirmed cases in the capital has reached 235,985.

Among people who have contracted COVID-19 over the course of the past day are 94 women aged 20-89 years, 63 men aged 20-87 years, 6 girls aged 2-15 years, and 6 boys aged 3-15 years.

Twelve lethal cases related to COVID-19 were recorded in Kyiv on October 3 (5,450 in total).

At the same time, 24 people have recovered over the course of the past day. In total, 221,434 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease.

As reported, Ukraine recorded 4,821 new COVID-19 cases on October 3.
