Over 135,000 Ukrainians get COVID-19 shots on Sept 13

A total of 135,223 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in Ukraine on September 13, the Ukrainian Health Ministry has reported on Facebook.

"As many as 135,223 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, on September 13, 2021. Some 54,523 people received their first dose, and 80,700 people were fully vaccinated," the report reads.

According to the ministry, 300 mobile vaccination teams, 1,004 vaccination sites, and 353 vaccination centers were operating across the country in the past day.

A total of 10,846,167 doses have been administered in Ukraine since it launched a vaccination campaign, with 5,961,263 people receiving their first dose and 4,884,904 people receiving both doses (two people received their first dose abroad).

Ukraine started the COVID-19 vaccination campaign on February 24, 2021.
