Shmyhal says number of oxygen-supplied beds makes up almost 100%

Almost 100% of COVID beds in Ukraine are supplied with oxygen, and 15,000 oxygen concentrators have been purchased for outpatient treatment.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal wrote about this on his Telegram channel.

"The government is preparing hospitals, and the number of oxygen-supplied beds makes up almost 100%. In addition, 15,000 oxygen concentrators have been purchased separately, which will make it possible to treat Ukrainians on an outpatient basis," he noted.

The Cabinet of Ministers will extend the emergency situation regime and adaptive quarantine restrictions in Ukraine until October 1.

Some 1,122 new coronavirus cases were registered in Ukraine on August 10.

A total of 6,846,399 doses have been administered in Ukraine since it launched a vaccination campaign, with 4,324,551 people receiving their first dose and 2,521,848 people receiving both doses (two people received their first dose abroad).
