Finland opens its borders to Ukrainian citizens on Aug 9

Finland will open its borders to Ukrainians the next Monday, August 9.

“Starting next Monday, restrictions on entry to Finland for those arriving from Ukraine by scheduled flights will be lifted. Currently, SkyUp Ukrainian carrier flies between Kyiv and Helsinki twice a week – every Wednesday and Saturday,” Yle portal reports.

It is specified that as of August 4, the Ukrainian authorities recorded a cumulative COVID-19 rate of about 39 cases per 100,000 people over the past 14 days. In Finland, this figure is currently around 144.
