Hungary donates 10 ventilators to Ukraine from NATO

A Hungarian delegation has brought 10 ventilators to Ukraine in response to the country's request to NATO for assistance in combating the COVID-19 pandemic.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba said this at a joint press conference with his Hungarian counterpart Peter Szijjarto in Kyiv on July 22, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"I am grateful that the Hungarian delegation brought 10 ventilators to Ukraine today. I would like to emphasize that these ventilators were brought to Ukraine in response to our state's request to NATO to help us fight COVID-19, that is, Hungary donated these ventilators to us from NATO," Kuleba said.

He added that the Ukrainian side plans to further remove the "problematic pain points" in our relations in order to accelerate Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic integration with all tools.

Hungarian Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade and Chair of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe Peter Szijjarto is on a working visit to Ukraine at Kuleba's invitation.
