Russian actor banned from entering Ukraine for three years

Border guards of the Kyiv checkpoint have banned a Russian actor and TV presenter from entering Ukraine, the Ukrainian State Border Guard Service has reported.

"A Russian born in 1974 arrived in Ukraine with a permanent residence permit in our country. However, border guards established the facts of his illegal visit to the temporarily occupied Crimea," the report said.

The foreigner who illegally visited the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine today left Ukraine on a Kyiv-Warsaw flight.

After the Russian was registered for departure, border guards banned him from entering Ukraine for three years, in accordance with the requirements of Article 13 of the Law of Ukraine "On the Legal Status of Foreigners and Stateless Persons."

"The Ukrainian State Border Guard Service is also preparing a letter to the State Migration Service of Ukraine with the initiative to revoke the permit that gives the foreigner the right to temporary residence in Ukraine," the report said.

Ukrinform learned from its own sources that the issue concerns Russian actor, TV and radio presenter Oskar Kuchera.
