Ukraine to send oxygen concentrators, ventilators to India this week

Ukraine will send humanitarian aid consisting of oxygen concentrators and ventilators to India this week.

This was said during a traditional conference call on combating the coronavirus pandemic, chaired by President Volodymyr Zelensky, according to the official website of the head of state.

"The president was informed about the allocation of humanitarian aid to India to combat the severe consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to the joint efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Interior, a humanitarian cargo with oxygen concentrators and ventilators will be sent to India this week,” the report reads.

As Ukrinform reported, on May 7, President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree on providing humanitarian aid to the Republic of India due to the difficult epidemiological situation with COVID-19 in the country.
