More than 1.4M IDPs registered in Ukraine – Social Policy Ministry

More than 1.4 million internally displaced persons (IDPs) from the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions and Crimea have been registered in Ukraine.

This was reported by the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine.

"As of May 24, 2021, according to the Unified Information Database of Internally Displaced Persons, 1,467,720 internally displaced persons from the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea were registered," the report reads.

Among the registered IDPs are 1,991,312 families, 195,215 children, 393,866 people of working age, and 51,514 people with disabilities.
