PM: Ukraine can vaccinate 80,000 citizens every day

Ukraine has a tested capacity to vaccinate against COVID-19 80,000 people a day.

"Vaccination campaign continues, 18,000 people have been vaccinated in the past 24 hours. However, the tested capacity is over 80,000 vaccinated people every day," Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said during an hour of questions to the Government in the Verkhovna Rada, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

He added that 2.5 million doses of coronavirus vaccines had been already delivered to Ukraine, the number of vaccinated people exceeded 1 million, and the vaccination campaign was ongoing.

According to the Ministry of Health, a total of 1,031,728 shots of COVID-19 vaccines have been given in Ukraine since the beginning of the campaign, including 18,913 shots on May 20.
