Kyiv reports 151 new COVID-19 cases

Kyiv city has recorded 151 new coronavirus cases in the past day, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

"+151 confirmed coronavirus cases (in total, 196,592),” the mayor wrote on Facebook.

Among people who have contracted COVID-19 in Kyiv in the past day are 88 women aged 19-90 years; 3 girls aged 1-14 years; 59 men aged 19-83 years; and a 13-year-old boy.

Fifteen coronavirus deaths were confirmed in Kyiv over the past day. Since the start of the pandemic, the total number of deaths from COVID-19 in the city has reached 4,681.

At the same time, 72 people recovered in Kyiv over the past day. In total, 124,573 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease.

As of May 4, Ukraine reported 2,088,410 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 2,472 new cases recorded over the past 24 hours.
